Bug Rays were five copies of evil Ultraman, created from the Livepad's own software bugs, they materialized as five copies of past evil Ultras to face against Hikaru and his friends when they Lived into copies of Ultramen. Since they are not simulations, the Bug Rays are presented being stronger than fake Spark Dolls and would also result on the Livepad users' deaths. As Hikaru were on the verge of despair, the real Ultraman Ginga reminded him of their promise and this gives the team the encouragement to finish off the bugs once and for all.
